Last summer we worked with Camp Bestival to bring Wild Time to their festival, by bringing a whole load of you wild people together to turn Camp Bestival Wild.

It is fair to say that we had a blast and it was so successful that we even had queues for the woods!

In fact it was so successful, that this year the whole of Camp Bestival is going wild.

And this year we’ve got more Wild Things happening in the Dingly Dell, everything from Tree Climbing, storytelling, wild adventures and loads more.

The Wild Network will be there at the entrance to the Dingly Dell, enticing the festival go’ers down into the woods. We’ll be running our Wild Triage, prescribing Wild Time to families and telling them about the feast of wildness that awaits them in the woods

We will be prescribing inspiration for the things they can do in the Dingly Dell and then showing them a range of activities and ways for them to get more wildness everyday in their life. We will have some of our favourite Wild Time activities available and we’ll take people off into the woods to give them a simple dose of Wild Time that they can do when they get home.

We’re looking for some help to make it happen.

Project Manager

We need someone to project manage it for us.

You’ll know how festivals work, with experience in managing the ever changing, always moving festival world. You’ll also be passionate about kids and nature and have some experience in working with groups of kids and families. Some of the things we want you to do:

  • Work to recruit and brief volunteers;
  • Work out how to set up our Triage tent, get stuff to site and set up;
  • Arrange simple activities to give families some #WildTime inspirations;
  • Liaise with Camp Bestival team, before during and after the event; acting as the face of TWN throughout.

You’ll need to be able to work from Weds 29th July to Monday 3rd August, whilst dedicating some time before and after the event to work with us to brief volunteers and organise logistics.

Wild Time Volunteers

We’re looking for 20 volunteers to do Wild Time triage with us. If you are passionate about getting kids and families outdoors and if you want to put a few of your wild skills to the test it will be perfect place for you to get some experience in working outdoors with families.

You’ll be available from Friday – Monday and you must be prepared to get yourself to Camp Bestival. We’ll cover travel expenses and you’ll get a festival ticket +1. We’ll be working in shifts from 10am to 9pm, but there will be the chance to enjoy and appreciate some of the festival too.

If either the PM or volunteer interests you – drop us a line on

Let's put the Wild into Camp Bestival!
