Essex Learning for Sustainability will be running our annual teachers conference on Wednesday 30th September 2015. RHS Hyde Hall, just south of Chelmsford, will be hosting this years Learning Outside the Classroom Conference. This is a great opportunity for CPD around Learning Outside the classroom with practical workshops, ideas and inspiration to take back to your schools.

The conference will include a key note speaker from The Royal Horticultural Society, workshops from a range of ELfS member organisations, market place and Q&A session. Workshops include Magic of Minibeasts with Lee Valley Regional Park, A practical introduction to forest schools with Forest Schools Association to Exploring nature – the Charles Darwin way with Essex Country Parks. Many more from Essex Outdoors, Essex Country Park, Anglian Water, Woodbridge Tide Mill, Wilderness Foundation – Chatham Green, Langdon Hills Country Park etc.

Price per person is £60; this includes refreshments during the day, lunch and conference. The conference is open to all teachers, teaching assistants, head teachers, governors, trainee teachers or anyone in your school who may be open to Learning Outside the classroom.
