A weekend of madness and mayhem in celebration of all things afloat. In the spirit of the eccentric 18th-century owner of Derwent Island, Joseph 'King Pocky' Pocklington, if you like messing around on the water, then this is the event for you.

Come and enjoy a raft of riotous activities, from larking around on the lake in a bathtub to trying a wide (and wet) range of taster sessions, from kayaking to paddle boarding and rowing. There will be Sprint rowing races, dragon boat races and kayak polo, a parade of sail and a 'best dressed boat' competition. Plus all the fun of a traditional summer fair with rides, side stalls, refreshments and competitions. And if that's not enough #WildTime by the water, try out some of our '50 Things to do before you're 11¾ ' as well!

Free entry and activities; charges apply to taster sessions.
