- Inspiration and education around the importance of kids spending more time in nature

We've raised enough funds to hold a screening for the community!

Project Wild Thing is a documentary about the importance of nature for our kids' health and happiness. We're so passionate about this and have worked hard to raise funds to organise a free community screening.

About the film:

Filmmaker David Bond is a worried man. His kids' waking hours are dominated by a cacophony of marketing, and a screen dependence threatening to turn them into glassy-eyed zombies. Like city kids everywhere, they spend way too much time indoors - not like it was back in his day. He decides it's time to get back to nature – literally.

The documentary screening is suitable for adults (not children) who have a personal and/or professional interest in the health and well-being of children.
